1. When I make a payment on line will my statement reflect the payment immediately?
No, although the payment is posted to your account immediately, the statement file is updated every thirty days and the payment you made will be reflected on your next statement mail date.

2. May I establish payment arrangements if I cannot pay my balance in full?
Yes, by one of two methods: Set up a payment plan on line or call 304-487-7566

3. What are the payment options if more than six months is needed to pay off my account balance and-or I have more than one account?
Please contact our Support Service Department at 304-487-7566 for payment terms greater than six months and –or you have multiple accounts that need to be combined. The staff will promptly assist you to establish a payment

4. What happens if I don’t have any insurance & am unable to pay the full amount of the bill?
A Patient Access department representative will contact you by phone prior to your scheduled service date to work with you to determine potential Medicaid eligibility, financial assistance eligibility or the ability to establish satisfactory payment arrangements.

5. Why didn’t my insurance company pay in full?
Many insurance policies have a deductible, co-payment or coinsurance amount. Also, occasionally specific charges are not covered under particular policies. This may be the case with your carrier. To confirm your responsibility under your policy, if any, you may contact your insurance company directly or contact our customer service representatives at (304) 487-7566.

6. How may I pay my bill?
Princeton Community Hospital offers you several options for paying your bill. You may pay your bill online, by mail, by phone or by visiting the Patient Financial Services Department near the main entrance of the hospital. 7. How do I know if my insurance company will pay for the hospital services?
Contact your insurance company directly. Their phone number is usually located on your health insurance card.

9. What information will I need to pay my bill online?
When paying your bill online you will need to have your account number and your zip code as listed on your statement.

10. Will I be asked to pay anything when I arrive to complete the registration paperwork?
Yes, you will be asked if you have a co-payment, remaining deductible and/or remaining out of pocket expense. Please review your insurance coverage prior to arrival and be prepared to make a deposit/pay the amount requested.

11. Why can’t you discuss my over 18 year old child’s bill with me?
West Virginia law defines an Adult as anyone over the age of eighteen. Federal and state laws strictly forbid release of health related information without the patient’s permission.

12. Why didn’t Medicare pay for my medications?
If your physician orders outpatient or observation service – Medicare does not cover medications that are defined as self-administered. This is a coverage guideline requirement enforced by the Medicare program.

13. Will I need to stop @ Registration on the day of my scheduled test since I have pre-registered?
Yes, we must finalize your paper- work and scan your insurance cards, outpatient order and picture ID.

14. How early should I arrive @ registration prior to my scheduled appointment?
You should arrive with appropriate paperwork to include the order for services provided by your physician 15-30 minutes prior to your appointment.
